Elevated Storage Tanks

 In Projects

Probably some of the most visible and recognizable features of most local water districts are the elevated storage tanks, or “water towers,” which help maintain water pressure in the system and provide good flow through our faucets.

H2Orizon plans to add two new elevated storage tanks to service the bustling area around Horizon Boulevard (two million gallon capacity) and the growing Agua Dulce community (one million gallon capacity).

Water is gradually pumped up the tower, and, once filled, gravity acts on millions of gallons to provide the pressure needed to produce a reliable flow of water to surrounding neighborhoods, businesses and schools.
