NEWS June 2008 ------- The HRMUD election has produced two new Board Members to serve on the HRMUD Board. Mr. Benny Davis has been elected to serve in Position One and Gordon Jarvis to serve in Position Two. In addition, Ms. Maureen Surratt was appointed on May 9, 2008 to complete the term of Robert Surratt. The HRMUD website will be updated in the near future to reflect these new changes. In the meantime, the next Engineering Meeting is scheduled for June 19th at 10:00 am at 1539 Pawling Drive and the next board of Directors meeting is scheduled for June 26th at 6:30 pm at the same location. April 2008 ------- The next Board Meeting is scheduled for April 24, 2008 at 6:30 pm, and the Engineering Committee Meeting on April 17, 2008 at 10:00 am. The new RO train is undergoing production trials and only lacks automatic operation to complete the project. Well No. 5 needs a connection to the electric grid to be completed as well. March 2008 ------- This month's Board Meeting is scheduled for March 27, 2008 at 6:30 pm at 1539 Pawling Drive in Horizon City, Texas. The next Engineering Committee will be held March 20, 2008 at the same location. In addition, there will be an Architecture Workshop on March 21, 2008 at 9:00 am at the Pawling location. The third RO Train is currently undergoing shakeout trials and will soon be placed into the potable water distribution system. Well No. 5 is still awaiting an electric supply connection. We anticipate completion within 30 days. February 2008 ------- This months Board Meeting is scheduled for February 28, 2008 at 6:30 PM at 1539 Pawling Drive in Horizon City, Texas. The next Engineering Meeting will be held on February 21, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The installation of the third RO Train is on schedule with startup expected to begin early in the year. This will allow the production of up to 6 million gallons per day of blended potable water. The construction of Well No.5 is nearly complete and only requires the connection to the electric supply, The Business Office will be closed February 18 in celebration of President's Day. January 2008 ------- This months Board Meeting is scheduled for January 23, 2008 at 6:30 PM at 1539 Pawling Drive in Horizon City, Texas. The next Engineering Meeting will be held on January 17, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The installation of the third RO Train is on schedule with startup expected to begin early in the year. This will allow the production of up to 6 million gallons per day of blended potable water. The construction of Well No.5 is awaiting the delivery of a variable frequency drive control panel to proceed to completion.. The Business Office will be closed December 24 and 25 as well as January 1 in celebration of the Holiday Season. November 2007 ------- This months Board Meeting is scheduled for November 29, 2007 at 6:30 PM at 1539 Pawling Drive in Horizon City, Texas. The next Engineering Meeting will be held on November 15, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The installation of the third RO Train is on schedule with startup expected to begin during mid November. This will allow the production of up to 6 million gallons per day of blended potable water. The construction of the connecting pipeline for Well No.5 has been completed and will be followed by the installation of the well pump and motor. The Business Office will be closed November 22 and 23 in celebration of Thanksgiving. October 2007 ------- The contract for Well No.5 was awarded to the low bid by Horak Construction on June 28, 2007. The notice to proceed was given to Horak Construction on August 20, 2007. Horak construction will have 90 calendar days to equip Well No.5 with a pump and all the appurtenant equipment and install a water line to tie this well into the water system. |
